• Designs changes to new and existing applications 35%
• Develops and debugs software in support of new and existing applications 30%
• Project leadership, cost estimation and task planning 20%
• Mentors/coaches junior team members 10%
• Provides support for production applications (24x7) 5%

Qualifications

• 7 years’ experience in software development in an IT organization or equivalent educational experience.
• 3 years’ experience with Oracle’s relational database
• Experience in writing optimal batch processes in Oracle PLSQL and complex SQL.
• Experience in Java and Shell Scripting
• Experience with high volume transactions and troubleshooting in an Oracle database.
• Experience in retail pricing systems
• Good knowledge of KAFKA architecture
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies (GCP or Azure), Spring Boot and Microservices
• Working knowledge of building REST APIs, SOA
• Experience in ReactJS, NodeJS, MongoDB and Postgres a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinker, and excellent team player
